The London Surf Club was founded in the late 1970’s to cater   to the band of city surfers residing in the capital. The club presently has over 100 members  with a multitude of different nationalities, religions, ages and gender. It aims to put land-locked London surfers in touch with each other, so that they can organise car pooling transportation and consequently surf more frequently and cost effectively.

The LSC also fosters a lively social network, members have access to a wide group of friendly, relaxed   and like-minded individuals both male and female. The club also provides a fantastic range of organised events including skate sessions, pub nights, DVD evenings, BBQs, surf and   Yoga training.

There is also a more serious side to the club as members compete regularly at national level club competitions with high levels of success. Various club members head for the coast every weekend of the year, no mean feat given the geographical difficulties of being based in London and the temperature of the North Atlantic in winter! The dedication, enthusiasm and commitment of the LSC members is second to none and it is without doubt one of the most active surf clubs in the UK.
